How does it work?
We rent out registered stud bulls for a period of 4 years at R10 000 + R668 insurance per year.
What happens if something were to go wrong with the bull?
The bull is insured against fires and lightning; however any other damage is the renters responsibility.
Who is responsible for what?
The bull comes with a veterinary certificate confirming that he is free of venereal diseases and that he is fertile. The renter has to ensure that the bull receives yearly vaccinations and has to deliver the bull to us after 4 years.
Transport fees?
The renter is responsible for all transport fees.
Payment?
Payments are made yearly in advance. After the payment is received a transport permit will be provided.
Insurance?
Insurance is mandatory and needs to be paid yearly with the rental cost. (this includes fire and lightning cover)
How do I choose a bull?
You view the photos and videos on our website to make your choice or you are welcome to pay us a visit on our farm to inspect and choose your bull.
Resin Water areas?
If you are farming in an area with resin water the bull needs to be vaccinated by our vet. The renter is responsible for the vaccination fee.
Where do the bulls come from?
We at Rent A Bull breed the bulls from genes that we have collected and bought from prime breeders across South Africa, over the last 18 years.
